Overview
Haemorrhoids are enlarged vascular cushions in the anal canal. Early grades often respond to diet, fibre and medication. Advanced grades may need a procedure such as laser haemorrhoidoplasty, stapled surgery or conventional haemorrhoidectomy. The choice depends on the grade, symptoms and examination findings.
